These are hand painted paintings of my three late brothers from left to right... Marc Cote, Robert Cote and Paul Cote. Last week the band and I were playing a show in the Dallas Fort Worth area when a family friend and artist (Kendal Clark) came to the show and surprised me with these beautiful paintings that she made of my three late brothers. I can not tell you in words how special this is to me. She is such a good and thoughtful kid. My family and I will treasure these paintings forever. Thank you Kendal...!
I can not put into words just how much I miss my three brothers. There is not a moment that goes by that I am not thinking of them and wishing that they were here. Paul died an awful death in a construction site accident. Marc and Robert died just two month apart from the COVID-19 virus. Life can be so cruel and unfair. These three great men had so much living yet to do. I learned so much from all three of them. One thing that our family has taught me well is that old phrase... "Blood is thicker than water." So called "friends" can (and will) let you down. But a great strong family like mine will always "circle the wagons" and we always lift each other up. Outside of my family; trust and respect are earned not given freely. When someone lies to anyone of us, cheats us, hurts us or does us wrong in any way; then we are all done with that person forever! Family comes first! My three brothers lived and died by that rule. May they rest in peace until we are together again.
