Michael Cote' from Granbury, Texas has been entertaining audiences around the world for three decades. His blend of classic and contemporary country western, along with traditional popular and folk songs pleases just about everyone who enjoys the purest form of American music. He is a staple on the North Texas music scene.

Michael, a singer & guitarist, has performed in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards for many years at the world famous White Elephant Saloon. He also performs regularly for corporate events at various Texas ranches as well as many upscale hotels and convention centers such as: Austin Ranch in Grapevine, Beaumont Ranch in Grandview, Circle R Ranch in Flower Mound, Canyon Lake Ranch in Lewisville, Fort Worth Water Gardens, Omni Hotel in Fort Worth, Gaylord Texan in Grapevine as well as the Opryland Gaylord in Nashville, Tennessee, Fort Worth Convention Center and the list goes on and on...

Michael has opened for or worked with such artists as Merle Haggard, Gary Stewart, Rex Allen, Jr., Neil McCoy, Johnny Gimble and Mark Chestnut. He has played gatherings for United States Senator Tom Daschle of South Dakota, United States Congressman Charles Stenholm of Texas, United States Congressman Henson Moore of Louisiana, Congresswoman Kay Granger of Texas, Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief, and Jerry Jones owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys Football Team.

Michael has been featured in several publications such as: the Fort Worth Star Telegram, Hood County News, Cisco Press and Country Music Today Magazine. Digital City entertainment review gave Michael a five star rating, and he was nominated Metroplex Country Music Association (M.C.M.A.) “Guitar Player of the Year.” He's been featured in a radio programs on 104.6 F.M. in Barcelona, Spain and 1420 A.M. in Granbury, Texas and 95.9 The Ranch in Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas. His latest album "SOMEWHERE IN TEXAS" was featured on a radio program in the Netherlands as well as in San Angelo, Texas.

Michael has performed for a variety of corporate organizations such as Widowed Person’s Service, Grand Lodge of Texas, Grand Chapter of Texas Order of the Eastern Star, Scottish Rite Valley of San Antonio, Scottish Rite Valley of Waco, Fort Worth Water Gardens, Parents Without Partners, Fort Worth Women’s Club, S.P.J.S.T., Dillard’s, Alcon, Lockheed Martin, Estee’ Lauder, Fort Worth Visitor’s Bureau, Bayer Aspirin, Pecan Plantation Country Club, DeCordova Country Club, Ridglea Country Club, Kaleidoscope of Homes, wedding receptions, family reunions, birthday celebrations and many more private / corporate organizations and events too numerous to mention here.

Michael is a highly sought after professional artist with a pleasant style, and is a great entertainer for all occasions (from small venues to a large convention arenas). He performs solo and/or with his full band. He has been hired for session work to record on a number of successful albums and for advertisement spots. Michael's own album "SOMEWHERE IN TEXAS" is now available by email request or at his live performances. The CD is a masterpiece of Texas standards, country western and folk classics as well as original songs written by family and friends. With an amazing roster of musicians, Michael captures the essence of pure Americana music on this CD. It was recorded & produced under the newly formed independent label "Shred Better Records."
